“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” – Georgia O’Keefe

I am a lifelong artist and native Washingtonian. I make art because I have something to say about what I see and experience, and visual art allows me to do that in a uniquely satisfying way. Watercolor is my primary medium – the mix of pigment and water is always surprising and exciting – but I also occasionally paint in oil and acrylic, and make drawings in various media.

Thank you for visiting my site! Check out my portfolio pages to see my work. If you’re interested in purchasing or commissioning a painting, please send me a message at annemillerstrandoo@gmail.com.
